Two distinct roles at SmartTech Systems in Cairo.
Connect hardware events to usable desktop tools, then build maintainable web application services and interfaces.
Approach & contribution
2022: implemented real-time RFID-UHF reader communication with two-way Named Pipes to a WPF frontend, and upgraded an RFID app into a Windows Service.
2023: built ASP.NET Core Web APIs using Clean Architecture, the repository pattern and asynchronous controllers.
Created an Angular timeline with movable widgets, rating/sorting, statistical charts and tiered asynchronous dashboards.
Results & boundaries
Delivered software spanning device communication, desktop interfaces and web APIs.
The 2023 position was a Software Engineer role, following the separate 2022 internship.
